Father's Day Art Project Open Day: "Dust in Evolution - Memories of Shiziyuan Village"

On June 14th and 15th, "Dust in Evolution - Memories of Shiziyuan Village" will be open for free throughout the day. Everyone can visit Hanxi Village to learn about the life history of the village's parents. In this creation, the abandoned room is like a local art gallery, depicting the history and stories that belong to this city, town and village. The residents of the village can see the history of Jingdezhen's ceramic production, village immigration and construction in the images on the wall, and see figures similar to themselves or their ancestors. The homeowner Wang Quanyou's longing for his father is also artistically preserved in them.

Following the activity signs, those who arrived included not only tourists from all over but also the fathers from Hanxi Village. During the Mother's Day event held some time ago, many village aunts got beautiful photos. The "Art in Fuliang" team also took this opportunity to leave summer memories for these uncles who hadn't taken good photos for a long time.

The village handicraft workshop - Summer Solstice Fan weaving

The stronger the sun shines, the more beautiful the tea mountains become. How can one solve the unbearable heat? On the Summer Solstice, giving a fan can cool off and ward off evil spirits, and it can also bring good karma. On June 21st and 28th, children and local teams worked together to weave "cooling gadgets", waving their hands and flying around to see the results - this summer's fans were made by themselves!

Study Tours, exchanges and investigations are continuous

On May 27th, the village welcomed guests from afar. At the invitation of the All-China People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, a delegation of 98 Japanese college students, organized by the Japan-China Friendship Association, visited Hanxi Village, Fuliang County, Jingdezhen City, which is one of the "China Projects of the Land Art Festival" hosted by Hanhe Culture.

In the village, Japanese college students visited the "Art in Fuliang" project, listened attentively to the local team's guided explanations and interacted enthusiastically. I have a deep understanding of the collision, dialogue, integration and mutual learning between modernity and tradition, local and foreign. The long-standing and enduring Fuliang tea culture behind the mountain tea gardens in Hanxi Village; I was greatly impressed by the cultural mother nature of Fuliang County, which is endowed with the resources of the porcelain origin and tea area, to Jingdezhen. I particularly appreciate the humanistic and natural landscapes as well as the beautiful and confident life in Chinese rural areas. As a successful model of "art driving rural revitalization", Fuliang is constantly attracting the world's attention. The delegation also visited Beijing, Shanghai and Nanchang to learn about China's social economy, culture and history.

Thank you for your guided tour! "Having the chance to see the countryside of China is truly the most special stop of this trip!" " When saying goodbye to the local friends, the representative of the college students said with emotion.

On May 27th, a reporter from Le Figaro, a French newspaper, came to Hanxi Village. Chinese culture, the rural landscape of China, Chinese artists, as well as international artists who come to the heartland of China to participate in cultural exchanges and artistic creation, will be presented to the world through the largest French media with world-class influence in a story about Chinese rural areas called "Art in Fuliang".

On June 23rd, a study tour team from Shanghai Putuo Experimental School came to Hanxi Village. The children, dressed in colorful raincoats, braved the rain to visit.

On June 26th and 27th, more than 80 students from Wuhan Textile University came to visit "Art in Fuliang" in two batches. The weather was extremely hot, but the tour guide gave detailed explanations to everyone. The students visited attentively and gave feedback that they had a great experience during the tour.

On June 27th, the local team received the farmers' Association of Chiayi City, Taiwan Province. The guests tasted the green tea from Fuliang to cool off a little and then threw themselves into the exciting visit. This exchange was accompanied by the Taiwan Affairs Office of Jingdezhen and the Government of Zangwan Township.

On July 1st, the local team cooperated with the "Mainland Quest" program team of Taiwan's China Television for shooting. Local team members left the country and roamed Hanxi Village with the host, showcasing the "wonder" of art. We are looking forward to the broadcast of the program!

Maintenance of art projects and free medical consultations for villagers

In summer, when the grass grows wildly, daily maintenance is a task that the local team hides from their daily routine but persists in with great effort. In June, the focus was on pruning and tidying up the overly dense wild grass and shrubs around the art project.

A new peach replaces an old charm. Who put up a new red couplet? It turned out to be our family. New Nushu couplets have been pasted on the door of the first wedding house in the village, the old house where "The Well" is located.

On June 27th, students from the School of Nursing of Nanchang Medical College carried out a "Three Down to the Countryside" activity in the Art Fuliang Living Room, providing free medical consultations for the villagers of Hanxi. This event was coordinated by the Village committee of Hanxi Village, with on-site assistance and support provided by the local team. Villagers no longer have to make a special trip to the hospital; health check-ups have come right to their doorstep. The "Three Down to the Countryside" team not only provided health answers for the villagers but also brought them a detailed moxibustion experience. The local team turned the air conditioner in the reception room to full power, and the cool hall was filled with the fragrance of mugwort.
