Born in Xiamen, Fujian Province in 1963. Graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Fujian Normal University in 1988, he is currently a standing director of the China Sculpture Society, a member of the China Artists Association, a member of the International Leaders Visiting Program of the United States Department of State, a researcher at the School of Urban Design of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and a visiting professor at the School of Modern Art of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. The artist is almost associated with the symbol of "ant". Over the years, he has shaped ants in various ways, "magnifying" their image to the extent that people cannot ignore their existence. Since 2006, he has held large-scale solo exhibitions in many places across the country, including Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen, Fuzhou, etc. He/She has been invited many times to participate in international exhibitions in various places around the world, including the United States, France, Germany, and Switzerland.
